My Idea serial ID: 00238

I have a screenplay that I think is truly original: I saw that episode of "What's Happening" where Roger had a script about some ghetto kids finding a bag of money.

Before I show my script to anyone, I want an inexpensive and readily accessible way to at least document when I developed the concept. And perhaps, if this MyIdea site is as good as its reputation, I can tell the studio bigwigs that I am registered here, and they may recognize me as someone who they cannot push around, without them having their own proof that they already had the rights to my storyline and concept. I heard that they now will agree to a reading subject to the blind copyrights of a certified MyIdea MIN with timestamp.

I also want to show my script to some questionable types: at least they will have to overcome the proof I can show from this MyIdea account. Talk about a buck well spent: this gives me peace of mind.

The screenplay is about a group of young hipster professionalguys running a sophisticated investment scam.
