My Idea serial ID: 00506

I changed my name to Trebeca in 1997, It is derived from the area of Mannhattan, TriBeCa. I was looking in the dictionary for the word closest to my original name, Trisha. I found TriBeCa and the definition seemed all too fiting for me, it went something like this:

TriBeCa is a neighborhood in downtown Manhattan. The name is a syllabic abbreviation of "Triangle Below Canal Street." It runs roughly from Canal Street south to Park Place, and from the Hudson River east to Broadway. TriBeCa, once an industrial district dominated by warehouses, has undergone a major revitalization. Warehouses were converted into loft apartments and new businesses emerged, making it into a high end community of artists.

My last name at the time was Hudson, I am an artist-who was also Saved by God's grace and "revitalized" so it seemed only right that I adapt the name for myself.

I really do like my name and those that I have met have nothing but compliments.

I just wonder how many Baby Girls have been born since '97 and named Trebeca-if any...

If my name where to be used for any business purposes, I would expect some sort of compensation for having created it in the first place. But if any children are born and named Trebeca, it would be an honor to me and my creativity.
