Some guys and I from Massachusetts Institute of Technology came up with this many years ago. I think I'll take all the credit though. The invention is comprised of a jar that has a moveable bottom platform with one vertical degree of translation. This will add the ability to move all of the jar's contents up or down, depending on the position of the bottom platform. When the salsa is running low, and you don't want to break your chip off, you could shift the bottom to a higher location in order to bring the remaining contents to the top. Frito Lay, Paul Newman, Herr’s, Taco Bell, and the other salsa makers could sell millions more jars of their salsa. It could also be used as a gimmick at Chili's, Chi Chi's, Baja Fresh, Qdoba, Fresh City, Chipotle, McDonalds etc.
