The Big Orange

The Big Orange is a variant of a "manhattan" type cocktail. With this version you take equal parts "woodford reserve" bourbon and Grand Manier add a splash of sweet vermouth and garnish with bourbon-soaked cherries. The name is somewhat of a stretch: Manhattan - The big apple - Grand manier (orange liquor) hence "the big orange". This recipe was created by Yanni M. Thermenos, owner and executive chef of Muse mediterranean restaurant and bar, for Woodford reserve.
